Roxy the yorkie-poo

This is our dog roxy protecting the end table in our basement. She does this every night and nothing we do stops her. She also will bark at anyone that walks towards her or if anyone walks into a room that she is in. She runs around our house in patterns sniffing the floor and we cannot stop her unless we catch her and hold her. Anytime we pick her up she growls at us while showing her teeth.
Overall she completely runs our household and we have no idea how to stop this.
