A playful Bichon Frise, four year old Fifi has several rather undesirable habits. She cannot resist digging in dirt, knocking over lightweight garbage cans, and trying to assert herself as a ten pound alpha dog.
Although Fifi is fervently excited about going for a walk when I hold the leash, when my 17 year old daughter tries to take her for a walk, Fifi parks her behind on the road and refuses to move a single step unless it is back home to me. This is traumatically embarrassing for a teen-ager!
When Fifi is hungry, she knocks over the ice cream pail holding her kibble, barks once, and waits. Despite the fact that her dog dish is full, she will not eat unless I pretend to add, or really add more dog food to the bowl, place two kibbles in front of the bowl, tap the floor twice, and say “here you go.”
Fifi recently began to refuse to eat her food on a floor. If I do serve her on linoleum, she will only eat if I make a trail of kibble that starts on the carpet and leads to her dish.
Surely Fifi is Canada’s naughtiest dog!

I am a friend of Joan's and Fifi is definitely a naughty little girl. When I came over last week to visit she got upset because Joan and I were chatting away and she would bark and go sit under the kitchen table and pout. I called her to come out and she just looked at me like I had six heads...hmmm...a little jealous I would say. She also rang her bell on the door to go out in the back yard so I let her out and then when I walked away she immediately started barking to come back in. I think 'someone' wanted attention! Ha ha! Other than that she is the cutest little dog I've ever seen but I think she should win the Naughtiest Canadian Dog award! (:
