It is all fun and games until someone loses an eye

When it finally happened. Kobi will be going for surgery today and will likely lose his eye. Kobi is a 9 year shitzu/lassa cross. Kacey is a 2 year old rotti/lab cross. The dogs were left in the house today while my sister's boyfriend was in the backyard. When he returned into the house he found, garbage everywhere and Kobi's eye was 3/4 of the way out. This is not the first fight. Kacey is over bearing and playful; Kobi gets stepped on and the fight is on. Kobi is very aggressive to people and some dogs. Kacey has also shown aggression to people. She has bitten the little girl nextdoor on the face; luckily it was only a pinch mark. She has also bitten my sister while she was breaking up a fight. Kobi has bitten almost everyone. I am afraid to have either dogs near my 8 month old son. We cannot control either of them. They are the cutest, suckiest dogs and we love them. But they are both people, dog and food aggresive. HELP. I don't know what we are going to do! We just want a happy family again

Like people, some dogs don't mix well. They sound jealous of each other, of anyone getting between them and the owner - a one owner/people dog. Never to be left alone together or with small children. Time to split them up, unfortunately the owner can't handle them so one has to go - especially if small children around (what are you thinking???)

Sounds like my story is identical to yours. My Boxer took out my Pug's eye over a year ago now, and last weekend she gashed above her eye open in yet another fight. I had a hard time when they took out my Pug's eye, felt very guilty. She's as cute as can be though!! I have an entry aswell "Introducing Beans and Raya" You'll have to go check out the eye situation (or lack there of).

They are never usually left alone together, their parents were home just in another room...

Aww so sorry to hear about Kobi's eye. How come they were left alone? This should have never happened!

Not to forget their CONSTANT barking at the windwows and fences and people...
Suckiest dogs though, you would never know there was a issue until provoked.
