Trapper the Terrible

Submitted by: Tina Young

Where shall I begin? Trapper is my 14-month-old yellow lab who has done it all. He barks, bites, digs, jumps, chews and attacks. He chewed my deck, patio chair, 4 house walls and through his cedar kennel door. He"ll chew shoes, his bed, underwear, socks, the kitten and me. I've become the latest chew toy and have bruises for proof. He has dug up flowerbeds and likes to dig in front of the stairs outside setting booby traps. If you come to my house Trapper will greet you before you even open your car door because he'll jump on it, in it, and on you. We even tried puppy school at 6 months and were told at graduation (which we just passed by the way) that Trapper was a very aggressive pup and needs alot of work so "Goood Luck". He likes the rear sneak attack when I'm inside and out in the yard which includes: trying to take the legs out from under me, jumping on my back and bit legs, arms or hands, which ever he can get first. It's gotten so that I have to walk around with a switch to keep him away. He is a loving dog, but desperately in need of help!
