This 8 month old airdale terrier has some serious issues of being alone or unleashed.
After destroying our brand new sofa set down to the wooden frame, chewing a antique rocking chair, remotes to the TV, a large book collection shredded into small pieces and tearing through gyproc on our indoor house walls.
Needless to say our family was so amazed with what damages this sweet, innocent, handsome puppy has accomplished in our home.
We are still working alot with Snoopy and will not give up but definitely need some serious help. Snoopy is a wonderful family member and loving dog.

I feel for you Charity. Airedales are a brilliant dog. I have a 2 year old, Hobbes. If you haven't been to obedience training with him - you must (but it doesn't end there!). Make sure the trainer knows how to successfully train a headstrong breed.
While Hobbes is obedient now and refrains from destroying our personal belongings, we kept him crated when we weren’t home (until 1.5 yrs old). When we were home, if Hobbes wasn’t by our side then he was busy finding something better to do (ex: chew everything) because whatever we were doing at that time just wasn’t that exciting to him. We’ve since learned to provide him both the physical and the mental exercise he needs. Ultimately, you can try to run an Airedale to exhaustion but if he isn’t being mentally challenged, it’s all in vain. Hobbes favorite game is hide & seek (both with toys and with us).
Best of luck to you both!
