Shelby has seperation anxiety very bad. If I leave her outside and run to the store she eats the gate, we had to put metal trim all along the sides and bottom but she still tries to eat it. She also digs under the gate to get out and look for me. When we leave her inside the house she digs holes in my carpets, eats through doors and walls to try and find me. If she is outside and I am inside she just screams and crys until I let her in. I can't take her out to a public area to play with other dogs as she attacks every dog she sees. I have socialized her since she was 4 months old and she is mostly fine with her friends of 7 years but once in a while she has a fight with them too. Any new dog that comes along, watch out. We have another dog that is picking up her bad habits and the 2 of them pack up on other dogs now. I have to go late at night to walk them so I won't run into anybody else.

My poor girl Shelby, they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, boy they were wrong, we had that horrible thunder storm on Sat night and Shelby learned how to jump on my head!!! It didn't matter where I was, sitting on the floor or standing, she just took a running jump to get up there. I have many scratchs and bruises from that night and not much sleep, the thunder and lightening went on for 10 hours. I gave her her knockout pills but that did not do a thing and she was still so crazy that she shit herself. Poor thing, she will die of a heart attack one day, between going crazy when I leave and any funny noise, game over.

I am Shelby's gramma, I am sure she is going to have a heart attach one day with her panting at the sight of 1 black cloud or wind.

I'm Dawn's neighbor and the dog actually cries at the gate when she hear's dawn's vehicle coming home from down the road. Sometimes I am mistaken and think it is one of one my kids getting hurt! This dog needs some help!!!
